Short Summary: NY legislature passed legislation that prohibits the breeding of any wild cat species and forbids the purchase or sale of wild felines for pets. All exisiting owners must register their felines by June 30, 2005, and apply for a license. License fee is $170 for 2 years.

USDA Class C educational exhibitors may possess wild cats.
