Short Summary: Does not permit pet ownership or private breeding centers. Issues permits for educational and scientific use of wild felines. Applicant must be university, government agency, non-profit institution, or persons involved in wildlife research. Wild felines can be imported and possessed only for commercial purposes by a bona fide zoo, circus, amusement park, or film company.

Bobcat or lynx can be propagated for their fur but you must apply for a certificate of registration from the department.
