FCF AFRICAN SAFARI SWEEPSTAKES

Q:  What all is included in the Grand Prize?

A:  The Grand Prize Winner will receive a 6-day, 6-night African Safari to South Africa for 2 people.  The Safari includes six days and six nights accommodation at either Zulu Nyala Game Lodge, Zulu Nyala Heritage Safari Lodge, or Zulu Nyala Nyati/ Ndlovu Lodge including three full meals per day and two game drives per day.  International airfare for 2 people to South Africa is also included in the prize package.  Total value of the prize package is approximately $7000.

Q:  Are there other costs I would be responsible for?

A:  The winner is responsible for all applicable Federal, State, and Local taxes. Costs and all other expenses not specified as part of prize are the sole responsibility of winner.  The winner will also be responsible for their own transportation to the point of embarkation of the international flight.

Q:  Is the Safari just for one person?

A:  The winning prize is for 2 people double occupancy and also includes the international airfare to get to South Africa.

Q:  What if I would like my children or friends to join me on the Safari?

A:  Additional people may book, in conjunction with the winner, at the special discounted rate of $2950 per couple  A third person may join at the special rate of $975 and children under 12 pay 50% of the discounted rate.  International airfare is not included in these prices and would have to be arranged at additional cost.

Q:  Is the date for the Safari flexible to allow me to make plans?

A:  Yes.  After being notified, the winner has one year to arrange a date and take the Safari.

Q:  When is the drawing date?

A:  The winning ticket will be drawn January 16, 2010.

Q:  How can I find out if I won?

A:  The winner will be notified by telephone and/or U.S. Mail and announcement will be made on the FCF web site.  For prizewinner information, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to FCF Sweepstakes, 141 Polk 664, Mena, AR 71953.

Q:  What if I am unable to get time to take the Safari?

A:  The winner may transfer the Grand Prize to another person after winning, but this has to be done before final arrangements for the fights and Safari booking takes place.

Q:  How can I get tickets?

A:  Entries may be made online at the FCF website, using PayPal; or by downloading the sweepstakes tickets entry form and mailing it along with $10 donation to: FCF Sweepstakes, 141 Polk 664, Mena, AR 71953.

Q:  What is the last date I can enter?

A:  All donations and entries must be received no later than January 15, 2010.  The drawing will be held on January 16, 2010.

Q:  Can I use a check?

A:  Yes.  All checks should be made payable to “Feline Conservation Federation”.

Q:  Do I need a passport?

A:  Yes, a passport is needed. Application for a passport can be made at your local Post Office.

Q:  Can I stay longer or go other places?

A:  Yes, extensions and other tailor-made tours within South Africa and neighboring countries may be made through Adventure Boutique, Inc. at an additional cost.

Q:  Where is Zulu Nyala?

A:  The Zulu Nyala properties are located in South Africa's Kwa-Zulu Natal province, between Johannesburg and Durban.  Temperatures average around 81 degrees year round.

Q:  Are there other game parks in the area?

A:  Mkuze, Hluhluwe and St. Lucia reserves are all located close by.

Q:  What animals can I expect to see?

A:   The area contains a wide variety of game from elephant, rhino, buffalo, a variety of predators, abundant plains game and a wealth of bird life.
