Jim Fowler, zoologist and internationally recognized naturalist, is also this year’s special guest at the FCF Convention in Oklahoma. We are honored to have Jim Fowler as one of our speakers on Friday.

Jim understands the power and impact of  wildlife ambassadors in live appearances before audiences to strengthen the message that continued existence of wildlife and wilderness is important to the quality of life of humans, and we must realize we are very much a part of the earth’s ecosystem, and we must learn to respect and live according to the basic biological laws of nature.

Jim has been educating the American public for more than 40 years, first as co-host and then host of Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom and also host of Mutual of Omaha’s Spirit of Adventure. Jim has been the wildlife correspondent for NBC’s Today Show since 1988 and he was a regular on the Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson.

Jim Fowler is actively involved in a nationwide conservation education program conducted at the local community level. This includes his personal appearances to share conservation related messages.  Jim’s mission is to affect public attitudes so that they in turn will help protect wildlife habitat and influence appropriate governmental policy.
