T.I.G.E.R.S.
T.I.G.E.R.S. in Mrytle Beach, South Caroline is the latest facility to be accredited by the FCF as operating with excellent standards of feline facility and management. The Institute of Greatly Endangered and Rare Species is home to over 70 felines, many of them tigers, including the four different color phases of tigers, orange, tabby, white and snow white. T.I.G.E.R.S. is a fifty-acre preserve. Bhagavan “Doc” Antle designed the preserve to provide enriched habitats for the resident felines that enable the keepers, trainers and employees of T.I.G.E.R.S. to perform routine feeding and cleaning chores and facility maintenance safely and effectively. Public safety is also addressed, since the facility is open for educational tours and filming. T.I.G.E.R.S. features chain link fenced-in exercise areas between ˝ and 1 acre in size that comprise a variety of habitats to hold mainly tigers and ligers. Visitors enjoy an extremely rare opportunity to view wildlife in a beautiful back drop of lush and vibrant landscaping that hides fencing so that enclosures appear to be jungle spaces where the resident felines have plenty of enrichment. Owner and manager of T.I.G.E.R.S. Dr. Bhagavan Antle is a world-renouned animal trainer with an impressive list of films, commercials, photo shoots and TV and live shows to his credit.
