2018 FCF Conference

Come join us for the annual FCF Conference in sunny Charlotte, North Carolina from Thursday August 23rd-Saturday August 25th

In addition, we will have optional educational courses taught at the hotel on Wednesday, August 22nd.

Wild Felid Husbandry Course (8 hours),
or take one or both the
Wildlife Conservation Educators Course (4 hours)
and the Contingency Planning workshop (4 hours).

Our hosting facility is Tiger World Endangered Wildlife Preserve. Founded in 2007, this unique wildlife organization located in Rockwell, NC is a global participant in conservation of, and education about, threatened and endangered animals. FCF attendees will have exclusive access to Tiger World Endangered Wildlife Preserve on Friday, August 24, so that special sessions in professional development can be offered to conference attendees.

In addition to educational classes, Friday's tour of Tiger World, the FCF Conferrence also promises a variety of informative guest speakers, and as always, an opportunity for viewing and interaction with ambassador feline kittens and cubs. For those wanting an extra day of felines, stay Sunday and tour the Conservators Center in Mebane, NC. You must provide your own transportation. Use this link to sign up for the Sunday tour.

****Attendees interested in bringing their juvenile small cats to the conference may be permitted to do so for the purposes of ambassador animal training or professional development training for other attendees. Attendees interested bringing any wild cats for any reason MUST be USDA licensed, and MUST contact the conference committee for more information before planning to bring their cats into the state of NC. ****
