Wild Feline Husbandry Courses
The Feline Conservation Federation offers a Wild Feline Husbandry Course. This 8-hour course focuses on responsible captive husbandry of wild felines. It is suitable for both novices and "old hands" who want to improve their level of knowledge. State G & F officials and USDA Animal Care Inspectors have attended this course giving FCF favorable reviews from both agencies.
This course was professionally developed in accordance with a nationally recognized standard for technical training known as the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT). The course is an instructor led, multi-media presentation, with an 80-page student text, workshops, and final exam. Students who pass the exam receive a decorative certificate denoting successful completion of the course.

This course will not only give you the tools and knowledge needed to own and care for exotic felines, it will help you position yourself in the animal industry as a mentor. In addition to all the great information you will learn, students receive the exotic feline husbandy textbook to keep as a reference to help further your exotic feline ownership knowledge.
FCF members may take this course at the special price of $110.00. The non FCF-member price is $145.00. This course is traditionally offered on the Wednesday before the start of annual Convention. Additionally, the course is offered at other times of the year in various locations depending upon the host who sponsors the event.
