We are thrilled to share the incredible success of our recent Felid Fest event, held on May 6 at Panther Ridge Conservation Center. It was a day filled with enthusiasm, education, and a strong commitment to the conservation of wildcats. We are truly grateful for the overwhelming support and generosity shown by all who attended, volunteered, and contributed to the event.

Felid Fest was an exceptional gathering dedicated to raising funds and awareness for two of our flagship projects: the Geoffroy’s Cat Project and the Jaguar Project. With these initiatives, we aim to protect and preserve these magnificent feline species and their habitats, ensuring a future where they can thrive.

We are excited to announce that Felid Fest was an extraordinary success, surpassing all expectations. Through the combined efforts of our dedicated team, passionate volunteers, and the unwavering support of our attendees, we raised a staggering total of $18,417! This outstanding achievement will significantly contribute to the ongoing conservation efforts for both the Geoffroy’s cat and Jaguar projects. The funds raised during Felid Fest will directly support vital research, habitat protection, community engagement, and educational initiatives. Together, we are making a tangible difference in the lives of these incredible cats and their ecosystems.

Throughout the day, attendees were treated to a variety of captivating activities. Our event featured engaging presentations from renowned experts in the field of wildcat conservation, providing invaluable insights into the challenges and triumphs of their work. Visitors had the opportunity to explore the Panther Ridge Conservation Centers exhibits and interact with their amazing staff, network with 75 like-minded individuals, sip on wine or beer of their choice and feasted on a delicious dinner.
The event also included a silent auction, where attendees had the chance to bid on remarkable items generously donated by local businesses and individuals. The spirited bidding created an electrifying atmosphere, and we extend our heartfelt appreciation to all the donors and bidders who made this auction a resounding success.
